Following Francis

Following Francis is a non-religious service organization run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to providing free programs and activities to help people living on the margins of society to join the mainstream. They draw inspiration from the life and universal values of Francis of Assisi and share their time, energy, and resources to help children, families, and neighborhoods. Services offered: Field trips for children and families from impoverished neighborhoods, Gifts of clothes, shoes, groceries, books, educational toys, and supplies, Weekly summer outings, Groceries and toiletries, Beds, bikes, and basic household supplies, Free groceries for DC families, Beautification of urban park and streets, Cash, food, and other gifts for the homeless
