The Simi Valley Police Department Explorer Post offers individuals 14 to 20 years of age an opportunity to learn about a career in law enforcement. Services offered: Modified law enforcement academy, Assist the Simi Valley Police Department in various tasks, Work community events, Attend Explorer Competitions, Participate in patrol ride-a-longs Hours: Every Monday from 5 PM - 7 PM (excluding holidays)
SIMI VALLEY, CA
Teens ages 14 through 20 years old. All 14-year-old participants must have already graduated from the eighth grade. Must be a person of good character and integrity. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA, with no failing grades (applicable to students).
Attend a Post meeting. Meetings are held every Monday from 5 PM - 7 PM (excluding holidays). Meetings are held at the Simi Valley Police Department, 3901 Alamo Street in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
