The Arc of Butte County is a community-based nonprofit organization in Chico, CA, that provides essential support and services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and their families, promoting self-reliance, independence, and integration into society while advocating for the rights of individuals with IDD. Services offered: Adult Day Program, Family Support Program, Respite Care Services, Independent Living Skills, Job Development Hours: M-F 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm

Eligibility

Residents of California who have a developmental disability that significantly hinders them are eligible for services. The disability must have originated before the age of 18, and it includes conditions such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, and other neurological conditions that require similar treatment. Far Northern Regional Center provides referrals to the residents of Butte, Modoc, Siskiyou, Glenn, Plumas, Tehama, Lassen, Shasta, or Trinity counties in Northern California.

How to Apply

Individuals or caregivers must first qualify for Far Northern Regional Center (FNRC) programs and must be referred to The Arc of Butte County by FNRC.
