Plumas Rural Services is a Northeastern California community based, non-profit organization providing services and opportunities for the well being of local residents and families to improve quality of life and self sufficiency by promoting health, education, prevention and treatment. Services offered: Training and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (A.L.I.V.E. Program), Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program, Grief Recovery support, Domestic Violence Services (counseling for victims), Family Empowerment Center (information, training, support and advocacy to parents and guardians of children and young adults with ANY disability), Child Care Resource & Referral Hours: Mon - Fri (Excluding Holidays) 8:00am to 1:00pm, Closed for lunch, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
